You must have completed 200 hours of training in homeopathy in a program that is approved by the Board, of which 100 hours must be completed in the State of Nevada under the supervision of a licensed Homeopathic Physician, and pass a written open book the examination administered by the board. ADVANCED PRACTITIONER OF HOMEOPATHY (APH) DO YOU QUALIFY? An applicant for a certificate to practice as an Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy must practice under the supervision of a Homeopathic Physician and possess: 1. A baccalaureate degree from a college or university, which is approved by the Board or equivalent qualifications as, determined and approved by the Board. 2. Successful completion of training in one of the following:

You must have completed 400 hours of training in homeopathy in a program that is approved by the Board, of which 200 hours must be completed in the State of Nevada under the supervision of a licensed Homeopathic Physician. 4. Successful completion of the open book examination administered by the Board. LICENSED HOMEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN (HMD)
DO YOU QUALIFY?
A Homeopathic Physician in Nevada must have a thorough knowledge of homeopathic medicine, and may integrate into their practice the therapies that are defined in NAC 630A.014 through 630A.023.
The Board will administer an examination two or more times each year at the dates and times established by the Board. An applicant must submit his application to the Secretary Treasurer not later than 60 days before the date scheduled for the examination in order to be eligible to take that examination.
In order to qualify as a Homeopathic Physician you must have completed the requirements of NRS 620A.220 through NRS 630A.290 which requires, amongst other things, 3 years of post graduate training in allopathic or osteopathic medicine in a program approved by the Board. In addition to this training you are also required to have an additional 600 hours of post graduate training in homeopathy in a program that is approved by the Board, of which 300 hours must be completed in the State of Nevada under the supervision of a licensed Homeopathic Physician.
The written examination, based upon the principles of homeopathy defined in NRS 630A.040. The time allowed for completing the examination must not exceed 3 hours.
The Secretary Treasurer shall notify the applicant of the time and place of the examination within 20 days prior to the date scheduled for the examination.
Any book, computer, note or other material approved by the Secretary Treasurer of the Board before the examination may be used during the written examination.
To pass the examination, an applicant must receive a score of at least 76 percent on the written examination.
